Accelerated Construction Technologies (ACT) began manufacturing modular structures at our Canadian facility in 2010. These structures are hotel style complexes, used primarily as workforce housing for construction projects in the Canadian North. Building such structures, for this harsh and unforgiving environment, forces a high level of focus on detail and quality. This is inherent in everything ACT builds. This strong commitment to quality and attention to detail followed us to the 2012 opening of our second manufacturing plant in Surprise, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix. ACT has now completed in excess of 650 modules from the Surprise Facility, and is considered one of the top manufacturers of quality modular structures in North America. While we have built our reputation on large multi-story complexes, we take the same quality approach to every job we do, big or small.
ACT Strengths
Net-Zero Energy (NZE)
ACT starts with an energy conscious design and can integrate technologies such as solar panels, heat recovery systems, geothermal heating, and wind turbines to ultimately produce as much energy as required for the operation of the complex.
Sustainability
As stewards of the environment, ACT considers the environmental impact in the design process, and minimizes waste in the building process by utilizing construction materials management and recycling.
Quality
ACT prides itself on meeting and surpassing standards of exceeds conventional building codes, in a controlled environment, with quality controls embedded throughout the entire building process, from designing to installation.
Safety
'Operational Excellence' is measured through focusing on individual Health and Safety. This is achieved through consistent Accident Prevention Training at all levels of the company.
