Helping to advance the competitiveness and efficiency of US construction industry.
Modular Construction
There are a host of advantages that modular technology brings to most construction projects. Reduced cost and construction cycle times produce the primary benefits to the end user. Cost reductions are driven by more efficient use of materials and labor inherent in a controlled indoor manufacturing plant. The resulting manufacturing quality benefits flow through the project and ultimately to the customers bottom line. Time saving in the construction cycle means quicker in-service dates and less construction site management costs. These time savings, often as much as 50% are a function of the construction of the site infrastructure and foundations occurring at the same time as the buildings are being manufactured. This means that when the site is ready for the modules, the complexing can begin immediately with completed modules already assembled. The completed structure is available to the end user on a schedule significantly shorter than conventional stick built projects.
Building the components in a factory environment is conducive to producing consistently higher quality work with less variability in the workforce
- A workforce which is properly trained and stable with less turnover
- A consistent site location
- A Manufacturing assembly layout with task repetition throught the assembly
- Provision of inventory materials to work stations “just in time”
- Less lost time by workers transporting materials to install location
Our construction techniques are a proven solution for accelerating project schedules by 30-50%
- Quicker in-service dates
- Faster return on investment
- Inspection of multiple trades at once
- Less site and area disruption
The manufacturing of our structures reduce environmental costs by 16-25%
- Less material waste
- Reduction of change orders
- Elimination of weather delays up to 90%
Quality control and assurance procedures are more controllable in the manufacturing facility
- Same materials and building codes as conventional building
- Quality checks are built in to the production process
- Highly efficient building processes
- Elimination of variability of modular structures
Safer construction conditions are inherent in a manufacturing setting
- Full-time OSHA 30 certified Site Safety Manager on staff
